Gather for Awareness on the Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy

On October 29th, 2012, Hurricane Sandy made its official landfall. For many who live on the east coast, especially in New Jersey and New York, this day will be forever engrained in their minds. We are sure many of you can remember the howling winds, the sounds of the rain hitting your windows, and, for many, trees breaking and water filling lower levels of their homes. We are hoping that this tragedy does not happen again, and, if it does, we hope we can help another lucky person with one of our modular homes in NJ.

Raise Awareness on October 29th and “Light Up New Jersey”

Maybe you were one of the lucky ones who was able to return to his/her home and avoid much damage. However, there are still people out there who haven’t received any funding, insurance money, or other help to get them back in their homes. Children just recently got their schools backs and businesses just finally opened back up, which shows we are making a huge progression, but these can’t cause us to believe everything is back to normal.

For these reasons, residents throughout New Jersey will gather on October 29th, 2013 to “Light Up New Jersey.” As a resident of NJ, you can participate simply by shining flashlights or candles along the shore at 6:30 p.m.

We hope you participate and continue to support those less fortunate.
